HAVANA, Cuba, Oct 8 (acn) The program of the 25th Ibero-American Culture Festival 2019, to be held in the Cuban eastern province of Holguin from October 24-30, will be presented today to the press at the Tryp Habana Libre Hotel, in this city.
The event, organized by the Casa de Iberoamérica and the Holguin Provincial Culture Directorate, will bring together more than 160 artists, researchers and intellectuals from 16 countries, including Haiti, United States, Peru, Spain, Trinidad and Tobago and others, who will share with Cuban creators through conferences, exhibitions, concerts and workshops on the identity and culture of the region.
The Ibero-American Culture Festival was born in 1993 at the initiative of the then Minister of Culture, Armando Hart Davalos, in order to promote the exchange of experiences and solidarity between the nations of the area.
