HAVANA, Cuba, Jul 12 (ACN) This Monday, July 15, the 58 members of the 28th Puerto Rican brigade of solidarity with Cuba "Juan Rius Rivera," dedicated on this occasion to the centennial of Puerto Rican heroine Lolita Lebrón, will arrive in Cuba.

The website of the Cuban Institute of Friendship with the Peoples (ICAP) informs that from the 16th onwards the Day of Solidarity with Puerto Rico will be held in its headquarters and the forum "A People in Struggle, Resistance and Solidarity" will be held, with Heriberto Marín, hero of the insurrection of the 1950; María de Lourdes Santiago, vice-president of the Independence Party, and the fighter Milagros Rivera, director of the contingent.
On Tuesday, a Puerto Rican artistic team will present the monologue "Lolita Lebron," who was a nationalist leader imprisoned for a quarter of a century in the United States for leading a command that attacked Congress in 1954.
The 28th contingent of the "Juan Rius Rivera" will be based in the Julio Antonio Mella camp, where on July 17 they will hold a day of denunciation of the economic, commercial and financial blockade of the United States against Cuba.
The brigade also celebrates the 500th anniversary of the Cuban capital and the 200th anniversary of the city of Cienfuegos, in the southern province itself, where they will share the popular joy of the 26th of July celebrations.
