Acosta Danza to performe in WalesHAVANA, Cuba, June 4 (ACN) Acosta Danza, a company led by Carlos Acosta, will perform this Monday at the Wales Millennium Center in Cardiff, Wales.

The Cuban company is touring stages in the United Kingdom and France with a programme of well-known works from its repertoire.
On May 31st and June 1st, the group danced with great success at the Royal Theatre in Norwich, Norfolk County.
Continuing the journey, Acosta Danza will perform for the first time in France, on June 7 and 8, during the celebrations of the Festival Les nuits de Fourviere, in Lyon.
The program is composed of the choreographies El cruce sobre el Niagara, an anthological piece of Cuban modern dance, performed in 1987 by Marianela Boán; Belles Lettres, a neoclassical creation by the American Justin Peck, with music by César Frank.
The choreographies Imponderable, by Goyo Montero, will also be danced from the musical and poetic work of Silvio Rodríguez; Mermaid, a duet by the Belgian Sidi Larbi Cherkaoui, to be performed by Carlos Acosta and Marta Ortega, and Twelve, by Jorge Crecis, which combines dance, sport and mathematics.
Acosta Danza, founded in 2015 by Carlos Acosta, had its Premiere in April 2016.
The company aims to offer shows that integrate the contemporary and the neoclassical, without discarding other expressions, periods and styles of dance.
