Ibero-American Culture Festival kicks off Today in Cuban Province of HolguinHOLGUIN, Cuba, Oct 24 (acn) The 23rd edition of the Ibero-American Culture Festival, which will start today in this eastern Cuban city, will run until October 30th, and will have more than 150 guests from around 20 countries.

Artists and intellectuals from Argentina, Spain, Mexico and United States stand out among the most representative delegations attending this multicultural event with the desire to give away and know the most distinctive cultural traditions of the peoples.
Cultural industries and local development is the main topic of the celebrations and the special motivation is the commemoration of the 525th anniversary of the landing of Christopher Columbus to Cuba, on the coast of Bariay, Holguin, on October 28, 1492.
Argentina´s folkloric ballet "Estilo Criollo," American musical group Carpacho; with repertoire from Colombian band ¨Niche¨; and Spanish Gregorio Gutierrez, who will conduct Holguin Symphonic Orchestra, are some of the foreign artists participating in the event this year.
The Ibero-American Culture Festival summons every year national and foreign specialists, intellectuals and artists interested in fraternizing through culture of the various regions represented in the event.
