HAVANA, Cuba, Jun 23 (acn) Cuban popular pop band Angeles signed a contract with the US record label Warner Music Latina, according to Billboard magazine.
Angeles, made up by Angel Rodriguez, Sian Chiong, Hansel Delgado and Mikel Korta, together with their producer Sergio George, reached an agreement for the international promotion and distribution of their work.
The announcement was made on Thursday by George, winner of several Latin Grammy Awards by his performance as producer of some greats musicians like Marc Anthony, La India and Prince Royce.
According to George, Angeles are going to revolutionize Cuban pop music, thanks to their talent and incredible live performances on stage in any part of the world.
Rodriguez, one of the members of the band, told Billboard he was speechless after this agreement, one of the most important signed by a Cuban group with a company as prestigious as Warner, also considering that their career only lasts five years.
The first single of the band in the United States, "Me Mata Tu Amor," will be released today, a track fusioning pop and reggaeton featuring Yomil and El Dany.
