Cuban duo Buena Fe performs in Suena Caracas Music FestivalHAVANA, Cuba, Dec 12 (acn) Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro invited to his TV program the Cuban duo Buena Fe, which performed at the 3rd Latin American Music Festival Suena Caracas, dedicated to the revolutionary leader Fidel Castro.

Via Twitter, the head of state called on Venezuelans to tune Venezolana de Television to watch the show ¨En Contacto con Maduro¨ (In Contact with Maduro), dealing with issues of national and international interest, which is broadcasted from the Caixa Park Socialist Cultural Center, Prensa Latina reported.

Made up by Israel Rojas and Yoel Martínez, Buena Fe, which participated in the Festival for the second time, delighted thousands of Venezuelans gathered at Caracas´ Diego Ibarra Square, despite bad weather conditions.

At the end of their performance, they both thanked that the event was devoted to Fidel, Cuba and the culture of the Caribbean archipelago, in statements released by the Venezuelan News Agency.

We are grateful it was dedicated to Fidel, one of the great men of Latin America, one of the great men of the twentieth century, Rojas said.

For Rojas, Suena Caracas is a space conducive to the fraternity between artists from all over the continent and a launching ground for the song movement in the South American country, which is slowly growing and organizing.

For every artist who does not have access to the big stage or famous record companies, getting here and having the opportunity to present themselves is very important, Martinez noted.
