Cuban Journalists Exchange Experiences with their Vietnamese Counterparts

Havana, December 6 (ACN) A delegation of the Cuban Journalists Association, UPEC, is in Vietnam to Exchange work experiences with its counterparts and different media outlets in the región.

According to Prensa Latina News Agency, the delegation is made up by the President of UPEC's National Newspapers Joel Garcia and the representatives of the provinces of Pinar del Rio and Santiago de Cuba, Felix Temers and Lourdes Palau respectively.

The Cuban delegation will carry out the first part of their visit in Hanoi where they will be welcomed by the executives of the Vietnam Journalists Association (APV) and its branch in the capital city in addition to the People's Army daily (Quan Doi Nhan Dan). The Cuban delegation is also expected to meet with government officials.

The Cuban journalists will then travel on Thursday to the city of Da Lat in the province of Lam Dong and will meet with leaders of the People's Committee, APV and representatives of the local radio, televisión and dailies.

The program will concluide with a meeting with the executives of the Vietnamese association and the Saigon Times in Ho Chi Minh City.

The agenda will include visits to cultural and historic sites and will continue their exchanges with their Vietnamese counterparts.

The Cuban delegation was previously in Russia where they met with the President of the country's journalist association and the General Director of the Moskovski Komsomolets daily, Pavel Gusev. Both sides discussed issues of cooperation and work experiences.
