Cuba Represented at the Aruba Summer Music FestivalHAVANA, Cuba, Jun 22 (acn) Gente de Zona, the Cuban duo that has won several Latin Grammy Awards, a defender of the urban genre, will represent the music of the island during the second edition of Aruba Summer Music Festival, taking place this weekend.

The Festival will be held at the Aruba Harbor Arena in Oranjestad, the capital of this small island of the group of the Lesser Antilles.
Joining the Cuban artists will be Venezuelans Chino and Nacho, also exponents of reggaeton- and Wisin and Tito Nieves, of Puerto Rico, the latter known internationally as The Pavarotti of Salsa.
To date the Festival's organizers predict the attendance of more than 10,000 music lovers who will also enjoy the presence of Enrique Iglesias, the Spanish singer who worked with Gente de Zona and Descemer Bueno in the single Bailando.
Local idols and bands such as Nutbeatz, N'Fzion, Tsunami, Youth Xtreme and DLS will join international artists, confirms the official program of the Festival, which tends to become traditional.
Music lovers from countries like Colombia, Panama, Peru, Chile, Mexico, Argentina and Venezuela are expected to come together in this edition, Miriam Dabian, Aruba Tourism Director for Latin America, told reporters.
Gente de Zona, a group founded by Alexander Delgado in 2000, is dedicated to the fusion of the urban genre with more traditional forms of Cuban music and has obtained more than twenty international awards.
Soon, the interpreters of La Gozadera and Traidora will end a national tour that began several months ago, which took them to provinces like Santiago de Cuba, Camaguey and Villa Clara.
