Cuba will Host International Conference on Management

Havana, Cuba, June 14 (acn) From June 28 to June 30, Cuba will host the 10th International Congress of Management and Public Administration, GESEMAP 2016, at Havana's Convention Center.

Gerardo Montenegro, president of the Organizing Committee, said today at a press conference that reflecting on the challenges of Cuban companies in the current context, knowing the evolution of these issues in Latin America, and favoring a way to solve concerns are premises of the meeting.
He informed that participants will meet in five committees, that there will be a panel on administration with gender approach, timely to speak with women executives, and that the Congress will be attended by experts, consultants, students and researchers from Latin America, Africa and Europe, and for the first time by specialists from Greece and England.
The director of the Ministry of Higher Education explained that there will be pre-Congress courses, books will be presented, and that papers will be compiled to enrich the bibliographies of universities.
Montenegro stressed that at the closing session there will be a panel on the work and thinking of the historic leader of the Revolution, Fidel Castro, a tribute in advance for his 90th birthday.
Unlike previous years, most Cuban universities will be represented at the 10th International Congress of Management and Public Administration, said Marisol Muniz, president of the Scientific Committee.
She added that the 6th International Workshop of Schools and Faculties to Train Managers, will take place among parallel activities, also at Havana's Convention Center.
