HAVANA, Cuba, Mar 14 (acn) The documentary Bola de Nieve: Sad Man that Sang with Joy, was presented at the Latin American Film Festival in Toulouse which is underway in the southern French city, according to Prensa Latina News Agency.
The audiovisual work carried out in 2003 by Jose Sanchez-Montes, shows different artists related to Cuban musician Ignacio Villa known as Bola de Nieve.
The singer, pianist and composer born in Havana in 1911 and passed away in Mexico in 1971when he was scheduled to travel to Peru.
The public will also enjoy the documentary called Maradona on the former Argentinean soccer star, Diego Armando Maradona.
Directed by Servian Emir Kusturica, the film demonstrates the force and charisma of the also known as Pibe de Oro during his glorious career and other aspects of his life.
During the Latin American Film Festival in Tourlouse, cloe to 30 films will contest starting March 20th attempting to obtain the grand prize called El Flechazo (Love at First sight).
