HAVANA, Cuba, Jan 14 (acn) The popular musician X Alfonso is the only Cuban to take part at the BottleRock Napa Valley 2016 music festival, scheduled for May 27-29 in California, the U.S.A.
Alfonso will join outstanding world figures, such as the US funk band Red Hot Chili Peppers, Steve Wonder, Lenny Kravitz, Florence and the Machine, among other artists that make up a big World Music program.
The BottleRock Napa Valley Festival, with 70 permanent artists, is considered one of the best music festivals. It was first held in 2013 during five days on three stages with the performance of 60 great bands, including The Black Crowes, Train and the Shins.
X Alfonso, a composer and guitarist, made his first CD in 2000, which was pre-nominated to the Latin Grammy, and a second work in 2004 became a landmark for the new generation of Cuban music.
