HAVANA, Cuba, Oct 27 (acn) The President of the Cuban Radio and Television Institute (ICRT), Danylo Sirio and the Programming Director of the Brazilian Television Chain TVT, Antonio Jordao Pacheco, signed on Monday a cooperation agreement within the context of the ongoing 2nd Radio and Television Convention.
In statements to the press from Havana’s Convention Center, Jordao Pacheco explained that the agreement consists of a combination of materials and contents, of cultural and entertainment programs, and of co-productions.
I believe that this is a new beginning for us. Since it has workers as public, we have a lot to learn with you here in Cuba, with Cuban reality and the Revolution, which is today an international referent, asserted the official.
With respect to the present accord he said that this is the first one signed with the Cuban organization, but that at present other agreements are in progress, with other channels, such as Telesur.
TVT is the first labor union chain of Brazil, created in 2010 as an initiative of former Brazilian President Luis Ignacio Lula da Silva, with the purpose of democratize information, spread social demands and interact with the public.
