Lizt Alfonso Dance Cuba Company to Tour the U.S.

HAVANA, Cuba, Oct 17 (acn) The Lizt Alfonso Dance Cuba Company will perform for the eighth time in the United States with a new show full of good Cuban music, announced the group's director.

According to Liszt Alfonso, dancers will show their talent on stages in Princeton, Boston, New York and Washington during a tour scheduled for November 5 to December 1, the Cubasi web site reported on Saturday.
In a press briefing, Alfonso specified that the company will stay for three weeks in New York for twenty presentations at the New Victory Theater, among which activities for young audiences are included.
Under the name of Vibra Cuba, the company will take to the United States stories told through dance to the rhythms of cha-cha, mambo, rumba, conga and bolero.
Two weeks ago, the Lizt Alfonso Dance Cuba completed a successful tour of the Mexican cities of Tijuana, Mexicali and Oaxaca.
