CIEGO DE AVILA, Cuba, Jul 8 (acn) Young Canadians enjoy Jardines del Rey destination as part of the S-Trip Tourism Program for Students, developed since 2003 in March and July.
The students arrive in the holiday period to Jardines del Rey International Airport in weekly flights of the SunWing, WestJet, Cubana Airlines and Air Canada companies, the latter with the largest number of them.
This project will attract this summer to Coco and Guillermo keys to some thousand young people from various provinces of Canada, although most come from Toronto to enjoy a week of vacation.
Hotels Tryp Cayo Coco and Colonial Cayo Coco welcome visitors who are attracted by the climate of Cuba and the natural goodness of the region.
Sector specialists say that for this segment of tourists there is a range of options developed according to their age as games, eco-tours and tours to places of historical value in Havana and Moron, as well as recreational, cultural and sporting activities.
They added that one day of the week the visitors share with students from nearby communities, where they perform other activities such as painting schools, cleaning the environment and exchange with neighbors.
Participants in previous programs have shown their satisfaction for the hotel offerings, nature and excursions, as well as by the beauty and clean beaches, in addition to the hospitality, tranquillity and security they receive from workers and managers of the hotels.
At about 25 weekly flights from Canada, Portugal, Italy and Argentina, basically, arrive in the summer period to Jardines del Rey tourist destination.
