Puerto Rico's San Juan Bautista Choir Performs in Cuba

HAVANA, Cuba, Apr 2 (acn) The San Juan Bautista Choir of Puerto Rico is on a visit to Cuba as of April 1st and will make presentations in Havana until April 6, informed sources of the National Concert Music Center.
As part of cultural exchanges between the two countries, the choir will offer two concerts, accompanied by important Cuban choral groups, said in a press conference Cinthia Oviedo, the Center's specialist for communications and public relations.
On Thursday, 7:00 p.m., the Puerto Rican artists will perform at the San Felipe Neri Oratory with the choir Entrevoces, directed by Digna Guerra, while on Saturday, 6:00 p.m., it will sing with the Exaudi Choir, at the Minor Basilica of the Saint Francis of Assisi Convent.
In addition, as part of the second presentation, the Mass to Saint Francis of Assisi, by Maestro Guarionex Morales Matos, one of the Puerto Rican choir directors, will be premiered in Cuba.
Accompanying this piece will be the interpretations of Vilma Garriga, Frank Ernesto Fernandez and Alejandro Rodriguez, musicians of the National Symphony Orchestra.
