Community Film Festival Travels Eastern Cuban Region

 Bayamo, Granma, March 13 (ACN) The 10th Traveling Community Movie Festival will take its film sample March 28-31 to different locations in this city, in the eastern province of Granma.

The festival pays homage to the Father of the Cuban Homeland Carlos Manuel de Cespedes on his 205 birthday and to the 65th year of the Cuban Film Institute (ICAIC), as well as to the 35th year since the premiere of the film “La Bella de Alhambra.”

The event’s agenda also includes workshops, cultural performances, panels among other activities promoting the making of audiovisuals in different communities.

the participation of filmmakers, cultural promoters, movie fans and arts students, as well asl actors and officials is also part of the event, which was created by the Provincial Cinema Office and the local TV system in Granma to boost and expand audiovisual art in local communities.
