HOLGUIN, Cuba, Oct 27 (ACN) The personal exhibition "Pinturas Rupestres"(Cave Paintings), by Rafael Zarza, National Plastic Arts Prize 2019, stands out among the activities of the 29th edition of the Ibero-American Culture Festival, which will be held until October 30 in the eastern province of Holguin.
The exhibition, made up of 13 pieces worked in acrylic on canvas, was opened on Thursday at the Main Hall of the Provincial Center of Plastic Arts, with primitive art, from the contemporary, and the bullfighting theme as banner.
Rafael Zarza, author of the exhibition, in statements to the Cuban News Agency, explained that the works pay tribute to the painter of the caves, as it is the first contact of man with nature and art.
Among the activities of this year's edition of the Ibero-American Culture Festival are the exhibition of handicrafts of the Cuban Women Entrepreneurs Project and the exhibition "Works on Paper... papers to the work", with the results of the manufactured paper workshops held during the event.
With permanent headquarters in the city of Holguin since 1992, the Ibero-American Culture Festival connects the roots with the contemporary and the identity projections of the different nations of the region.
