MATANZAS, Cuba, Oct 24 (ACN) The works of two of the most active photographers of this province are on display in the exhibition Albor, hosted by Bodegas Lo Máximo in Madrid, Spain, where Cuban photography and art arouse great interest.
Albor organizer Layna Fernandez remarked that the photos produced by David Lopez Cruz and Julio Cesar Garcia, who have won various national and international prizes, are focused on the springtime of life and address, respectively, how children live in Cuba and Spain and family environments in context of the Covid-19 pandemic.
Likewise, many seats have been already reserved for a talk at the bookstore Dartbooks in Barcelona on the 25th about the works made by both artists, whose snapshots of the fire that broke out in August 2022 in the Supertanker Base of the city of Matanzas caught many people’s eyes.
García and López have been also invited by the Photography Classroom of the General Foundation of the University of Alcalá de Henares to participate in the Quijotes Photofest festival on October 28-29.
