Chinese delegation to visit the University of Havana

 HAVANA, Cuba, Aug 17 (ACN) A delegation of the Municipal People's Government of Shijiazhuang City, in the People's Republic of China, will meet with authorities of the University of Havana.

According to officials from Cuba’s oldest university, the group is headed by Ma Yujun, mayor of Shijiazhuang—capital of Hebei province and largest city in northern China—and made up of specialists from the State Management Committee of the High and New Technology District, the Foreign Trade Office, and the Hebei University of International Studies.

Established in 1998, the latter is Hebei province’s only higher education center specialized in foreign languages, teaching 75 of them to more than 26,000 students. It has signed cooperation agreements with some 400 universities and academic institutions in 82 countries.
