Photo exhibition as part of Month of Europe in Cuba

HAVANA, Cuba, Apr 11 (ACN) The collective photographic exhibition Diversos opened in Havana’s Plaza Vieja as part of the events scheduled for the Month of Europe in Cuba.

Massiel Arbona Fernandez, a visual arts specialist with the Office of the Historian of the City of Havana (OHCH), reported that the exhibition—attended by EU ambassador Isabel Brilhante Pedrosa—is made up of 17 canvas prints related to the culture and ways of life of European Union member countries and depicting even significant moments of their relationship with Cuba.

OHCH officials remarked that the photographs reflect diversity within the unity of these nations, a prevailing concept during the month-long celebration of the Old Continent in Cuba, which also includes workshops, meetings and contests organized by the Palacio del Segundo Cabo in its capacity as Center for the Interpretation of Cuba-Europe Cultural Relations.

Diversos will be on display until the end of the Month of Europe in Cuba on May 9.
