Havana, March 7 (ACN) Named after Piña Colada, the flavored refreshing drink, an arts festival taking place in the Cuban central province of Ciego de Avila in April will promote the works of talented young artists.
The event’s organizing committee president Arnaldo Rodriguez told the Cuban News Agency that the annual festival will include a music and youth symposium and will pay homage to outstanding local musician Cesar Alberti (1923-2011).
The festival will count on the participation of popular music bands playing different Cuban music styles, all including young musicians.
The Pina Colada arts festival will help reinforce its founding concept and ideas and will be the fest awaited by so many locals who want to bring a change to their everyday routine.
