HAVANA, Cuba, Oct 10 (acn) - The book "Conversaciones con Pombo" (Conversation with Pombo), by Brigadier General Harry Villegas (Pombo), was presented in Caracas as part of activities to recall Heroic Guerilla Ernesto Guevara, on the occasion of the 47th anniversary of his assassination.
The Che Guevara Foundation in the Bolivarian territory edited, published and presented the text.
During the ceremony held on Thursday, Villegas specified that the book is the result of hours of conversation with Ecuadorian researcher Maria del Carmen Garces, a faithful follower of Che's footsteps with several texts published, but with another vision, that of someone closer, someone that for a long time was next to the Latin American guerilla.
The book will also be presented in several cities of the South American country, among them Maracaibo, in the state of Zulia, and in Barinas, birthplace of late Commander Hugo Chavez.
Harry Villegas fought together with Che in the Sierra Maestra mountains, during his tour of some regions of Africa and was one of the three survivors of Che's guerrilla in Bolivia.
