SANCTI SPIRITUS, Cuba, Oct 7 (acn) A piece by Yudit Vidal, well-known visual arts creator of this province, represents Cuba in the 2nd Biennial of Contemporary Art of Argentina, under way with the participation of art exponents from over 30 nations.
Creators, specialists, journalists, gallery owners and critics interested ion spreading current visual arts techniques by way of an international exhibition, seminars and workshops, will meet until October 10 at the Borges Cultural Center of Buenos Aires, Argentina, according to the meeting's official Web site.
In statements to ACN, Vidal (Santa Clara, 1979) referred that the piece on display at the Biennial, which began on Friday, is entitled "Bordando tu paisaje," an allegory to the most genuine traditions of Trinidad, a locality of Sancti Spiritus where she lives and that serves as constant inspiration to her artistic work.
The painter and designer, appointed universal ambassador of peace and the author of different exhibitions, also commented about the excellent opportunity the Biennial represents to spread the work of artists of the island, a meeting where prizes in various categories as diverse as sculpture, installations and digital art, are given.
