Renowned Cuban and Foreign Musicians to Attend Leo Brouwer FestivalHAVANA, Cuba, Sept 4 (acn) Renowned Cuban and foreign musicians will take part, from September 26 to October 12, in over 30 concerts in stages of this capital, on the occasion of the 6 th edition of the Leo Brouwer Chamber Music Festival.

Singer Pancho Cespedes will inaugurate the Festival with a concert at Havana's Karl Marx Theater on September 27, announced Brouwer in a press conference on Tuesday.
Cespedes commented that he will pay tribute to late great Bola de Nieve and to singer and composer Armando Manzanero, and that he will have singer-songwriter Pablo Milanes as his guest.
Important foreign artists will participate in the Festival, like Norwegian violinist Henning Kraggerud, Mexican flutist Horacio Franco, Argentinean singer-songwriter Fito Paez, and other musicians of Brazil, Mexico, Spain, the Czech Republic, Colombia, Paraguay, Italy and Uruguay.
Cuba will be represented, among others, by singer Haydee Milanes, the Chamber Orchestra of Havana, the Schola Cantorum Coralina, the Presto String Quartet and the Buena Fe duo, just to mention a few.
The venues of this Festival, dedicated to the 75 years of life of maestro Leo Brouwer, will be the Mella, Marti and Miramar theaters, the Saint Francis of Assisi Minor Basilica, and the Charles Chaplin movie theater.
