HAVANA, Cuba, Aug 21 (acn) Guided visits to Ernest Hemingway Museum located at Vigia Farm, where the American writer lived, are among the most striking attractions within the program of Habanarte Festival to be held from September 11 to 21, 2014 .
This cultural exchange, profiled as a space for convergence of all Cuban art, will provide the local and foreign public various activities related to the rescue and preservation of important historical-social sites on the country.
To liven up the tours by different institutions, the official event schedule includes the opening of thematic exhibitions, meetings with members of community projects and lectures, to be offered in various national entities
The National Museum of Fine Arts, the one of Decorative Arts, that of Dance and the former residence of Hemingway in Cuba will serve as headquarters for everything related to cultural heritage within this big party.
In the case of the house of the Nobel Prize for Literature in 1954, visitors can enjoy an encounter with the baseball child project ¨Estrellas de Gigi, ¨created thanks to the significance of the stories of the games between the writer and children from the neighborhood.
Habanarte´s first edition, organized by the Ministry of Culture, invites to appreciate presentations by thousand Cuban artists of all manifestations, in nearly 100 institutions of Havana.
