GUANTANAMO, Cuba, Jun 15 (ACN) Army Corps General Ramón Espinosa Martín, Cuba´s Deputy Defense Minister, visited on Wednesday Baracoa, a municipality that recovers along with Maisí, Imías, San Antonio del Sur and Yateras, from the aftermath of Hurricane Matthew.

He said that the work is currently at 15 percent execution, the head of the southeast side (Baracoa) is almost finished, with only the poring of concrete to be done this Friday.
Veloz Camacaro described as essential the work carried out, with great accuracy, to finish the framing and reinforcement of steel structures in that vital part of the structure.
He added that in order to expedite the execution of the bridge, the assembly of the steel structures will be carried out by a Venezuelan company, which will join the contingent from the sister nation that, in a disinterested, immediate and effective way, collaborates in the building of the bridge.
In the coastal town of Cayo Güin, Espinosa Martin, received gratitude from the inhabitants, where 41 of the 47 houses that were damaged by Mathew are already rebuilt.
