British Royal Fleet Auxiliary ship arrives in HavanaHAVANA, Cuba, Nov 27 (acn) The British Royal Fleet Auxiliary (RFA) Lime Bay will arrive in Havana city today, according to a press release by the Cuban Ministry of the Revolutionary Armed Forces (FAR)
During their visit, the British sailors will meet an agenda that include courtesy visits to the Head of the Revolutionary Navy, the Presidency of the People´s Power Assembly in Havana, as well as touring sites of historical and cultural interests.

RFA Lyme Bay is a Bay-class auxiliary landing ship dock (LSD(A)) of the British Royal Fleet Auxiliary (RFA). Ordered from Swan Hunter in 2000, the ship was launched in 2005, but entered service in 2007.
The Bay-class ships have a full load displacement of 16,160 tonnes (15,900 long tons).[1] Each is 579.4 feet (176.6 m) long, with a beam of 86.6 feet (26.4 m), and a draught of 19 feet (5.8 m)
On September 2, the ship arrived in the Caribbean island-nation of Dominica to provide humanitarian aid after the havoc wreaked by Tropical Storm Erika. UK Defence Secretary Michael Fallon said: In the wake of the devastation caused by Tropical Storm Erika the crew of RFA Lyme Bay has been able to provide vital and immediate aid in support of local communities on the island.
Their work received praised from officials in Dominica and the UK.
