Latin American and Caribbean Brigade Ends Visit to Cuba

HAVANA, Cuba, Aug 6 (acn) The 22nd Latin American and Caribbean Brigade will conclude its visit to Cuba on August 7, after intense days of exchanges with social and productive sectors, which began on July 22 in several of the country's provinces.

In Artemisa, they visited the Mausoleum to the Martyrs of the villa and spoke with members of the Agricultural Cooperatives (CNA) El Ruanda and El Millar, where they delved into the feasibility of the new form of economic management.
While speaking about the group, composed of 181 brigade members from 14 countries of the area, Julio Cesar Moreno, a specialist with the Division of Latin America and the Caribbean of the Cuban Institute of Friendship with the Peoples (ICAP), referred to the collective interest of knowing more about the reality of the Cuban people.
The 22nd Latin American and Caribbean Brigade achieved the objective of contributing to a greater understanding of Cuban reality and performing voluntary work with agricultural development in mind.
