HOLGUÍN, Cuba, Sep 22 (ACN) The Provincial Division of Justice in the province of Holguin is engaged in the process to establish micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) by training human capital and ensuring the required resources in accordance with the new regulations for local development projects.
As one of the new economic actors, this state entity is in charge of controlling the process and implementing the legal rules laid down in the context of the monetary reform process, known as Task Ordering, launched in January.
Local Justice director Carmen Gertrudys Bejerano told ACN that the enforcement of the new laws based on legal advice is guaranteed to those interested through our collective law firms and the Legal Services Enterprise (ASEL).
“We have more than 200 qualified professionals to provide these services and written guidelines about related topics, including the contracting system,” she said.
Bejerano made emphasis on the social statutes, economic activity, the terms of the contract and the general board meetings, all essential for the creation of the MSMEs, according to the current normative, and for their registration in the digital platform of the Ministry of Economy and Planning.
Decree-Law 46 establishes that these structures are economic units with legal status designed to produce goods and services, and their establishment responds to the need to regulate new subjects to support the Cuban economic model with various forms of ownership, especially in the field of food production.
