Cuba will Deepen Links with its Émigrés

Havana, Aug 25 (ACN) Cuba will keep strengthening its relations with Cubans living abroad, said President Miguel Diaz-Canel on his Twitter account on Wednesday.

The head of state said that he held a fruitful contact with Cuban activist Carlos Lazo, a Cuban professor based in the US, who created the Bridges of Love Solidarity Initiative. Lazo is considered a restless fighter for peace and solidarity.

The Bridges of Love initiative has published an on-line petition backed by 27 thousand 100 signatures of people urging the Joe Biden administration to drop all sanctions against Cuba.
