HAVANA, Cuba, Mar 6 (ACN) To foster the French language and linguistic and cultural diversity, Cuba will host, as every year in March, the Francophony Day in Cuba, an event which this time includes an extensive program of conferences, concerts, exhibitions and workshops.
The Sartre venue and the Prado center of the French Academy, Casa de las Americas, Fabrica de Arte Cubano ("Cuban Art Factory"), Museo Napoleonico (Napoleonic Museum), La Rampa Cinema, Ignacio Cervantes Hall, Vitrina de Valonia, Fine Arts National Museum and Casa Victor Hugo will host the event in Havana.
The program also includes a performance by the Belgian group Influx, also part of the spring international festival of electro-acoustic and electronic to be held March 10-15 in Havana.
The Day of the Francophony in Cuba welcomes proposals showing the great artistic and cultural heritage shared by the 88 states and governments associated to the International Organization of the Francophony, spread over the five continents of the world.
