HAVANA, Cuba, May 26 (ACN) Cuban VP Salvador Valdes arrived in Antigua and Barbuda at the head of a delegation to participate in the 4th International Conference of Small Island Developing States.
Every ten years, according to information posted by the Cuban Foreign Ministry on its website, the conference assembles high-level dignitaries to discuss priorities and goals regarding sustainable development in these countries.
Valdés Mesa will also pay an official visit on the occasion of the 30th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Cuba and Antigua and Barbuda, which includes meetings with national authorities, solidarity movements, Cubans based on this country, and aid workers.
