HAVANA, Cuba, May 6 (ACN) Ana Maria Mari Machado, vice president of the Cuban National Assembly of People's Power and the Council of State, received today Stefanos Stefanou, secretary general of the Central Committee of the Progressive Party of Working People (AKEL) of Cyprus.
At the meeting, held at the National Capitol, in Havana, the two sides agreed to strengthen bilateral relations, the Parliament informed on X.
According to the Cyprus embassy to Havana, with this meeting the Secretary General of AKEL begins a working visit to Cuba until May 8, accompanied by Vera Policarpou, head of International Relations of that Cypriot party.
