Havana, April 29 (ACN) Cuban President Miguel Diaz-Canel sent fraternal greetings to former Uruguayan President and friend of Cuba Pepe Mujica who is suffering from a tumorous disease.
“From Cuba, we send you a fraternal hug and all forces to keep ahead. We know that surrender is not an option for you in facing the obstacles of life,” Cuban President wrote on X.
Pepe Mujica, 88, today revealed that during a medical checkup, the doctors found a tumor in his esophagus, whose treatment is faced with some seriousness due to a self-immune condition he has suffered over the past 20 years.
