HAVANA, Cuba, Jan 14 (acn) Soccer star Diego Armando Maradona said on Monday in Havana that he was happy to have received a letter from Cuban Revolution leader Fidel Castro and that he was so happy to know that Fidel enjoys good health.
"I´m happy that he has sent me this letter and that he is in good health and I am also very happy about the two De Zurda TV shows we aired from Havana," Maradona told reporters at Havana´s Jose Marti international airport before departing the island.
As to the content of the letter, Maradona said that Fidel congratulated him. The soccer star sent greetings to the Cuban people by saying "I love you much."
