
Havana, April 21 (ACN) Cuba and Slovakia agreed to further boost bilateral economic and commercial relations particularly in priority areas for both nations.
During a virtual business meeting, Cuban ambassador to Slovakia Yamila Sonia Pita said that the gathering served to relaunch traditional trade relations, which must be empowered following the identification of mutual interests.
The meeting was presided over by the president of the Cuban Chamber of Commerce Antonio Carricarte and the presidents of Slovakia’s Chamber of Commerce and Industry Peter Mihok from the Bratislava Region Igor Junas.
The two entrepreneurial communities will launch strategic cooperation in the areas of agriculture, food industry, renewable energy and biotechnology.
