HAVANA, Cuba, Feb 22 (ACN) Cuba and China signed an agreement that will allow the Caribbean country to import equipment for the installation of a mini brewery with the participation of non-state management forms.
According to the Cuban ambassador to Beijing, Carlos Miguel Pereira, the agreement was signed by Jinan China-Germany Brewing Co LTD and the Cuban company Maquimport.
Pereira explained to Juventud Rebelde newspaper that this agreement represents the first import of its kind carried out by the Foreign Trade Business Group in China in support of non-state management.
The diplomat specified that the equipment to be acquired in China will be located in a building of the municipal government of Playa, in Havana, which will later be turned into a gastronomic complex with a variety of pizza, cafeteria, sweet shop, restaurant, guarapera, malt and brewery.
The Cuban company Maquimport is one of the companies authorized to import products and machinery required by individuals in Cuba.
