Havana, Sep 11 (ACN) The Minister of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation of the Republic of Benin, Aurelien Agbenonci, welcomed today in a working meeting the Cuban Vice Minister of Foreign Affairs, Rogelio Sierra Diaz, during his official visit to this African country, the Cuban Ministry of Foreign Affairs website points out.
During the meeting, both sides agreed to strengthen bilateral relations in economic and commercial cooperation and exchanged on issues of mutual interest at the regional and international levels.
The gathering between the two officials was favorable for the signing of the Real Estate Reciprocity Agreement between Cuba and Benin.
The Beninese FM was accompanied by the Secretary General of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation, Herve Djopke, and the Director of the Americas of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation, Zelma Nobre.
Yenielys Regueiferos, Cuban ambassador in the African country, accompanied Sierra Diaz representing the Caribbean island.
