HAVANA, Cuba, August 5 (ACN) Under the slogan "Justice has a woman's face," the meeting "Women in Revolution" was held at the headquarters of the People's Supreme Court, chaired by Teresa Amarelle Boué, secretary general of the Federation of Cuban Women (FMC).
Organized on the occasion of the FMC’s 65th anniversary and publicized on X by the Cuban Ministry of Justice, the event featured an all-female panel led by renowned figures from the Attorney General's Office, the Ministry of Justice, and the Supreme Court and intended to discuss women’s transformative role in the Cuban judicial system.
The participants, who paid tribute to Vilma Espín on the 95th anniversary of her birth, the bicentennial of Mariana Grajales, and the centennial of Commander-in-Chief Fidel Castro Ruz, highlighted the ethical commitment, social sensitivity, and leadership capacity of the women who make up the justice system as fundamental pillars of the protection of citizens' rights and the construction of a more equitable society.
