Havana, Sept 2 (ACN) The seminar “Vietnam-Cuba: Socialist Press in Transformation,” will take place September 5th at the building hosting the Cuban Journalists’ Association, in downtown Havana.
The gathering will open in early morning hours with participants from both nations addressing issues like “Revolutionary Press in the Digital Era: The Cuban and Vietnam Experience and Practice, according to a press release by the association.
Three Keynote lectures by Cuban journalists and four by their Vietnamese counterparts are also on the workshop’s agenda. Following the debates on these lectures, participants will attend a presentation entitled “Media Economy: Advertisement and Economic Activity Management in the Media.
The Vietnamese delegation includes the vice-president of Vietnam’s Association of Journalists, Tran Trong Dumg; the Head of the Journalism and Communication Academy, Nguyen Ngoc Oanh, and members of Vietnamese radio and television.
The Cuban side will be headed by the President of the Cuban Journalists’ Association Ricardo Ronquillo; the vice-president of the Information and Social Communication Institute, Onelio Castillo; the General Coordinator of the Patria International Colloquium, Rosa Miriam Elizalde, among other participants.lc
