HAVANA, Cuba, March 3 (ACN) Esteban Lazo Hernandez, President of the National Assembly of People's Power and the Council of State, mourned today the death of the eminent Dr. Rodrigo Alvarez Cambra.
On Twitter, Lazo expressed his condolences to the family, friends and relatives of the renowned Cuban orthopedic surgeon, who is backed by a deep scientific, medical and teaching work.
For his part, Manuel Marrero Cruz, Prime Minister of Cuba, sent his condolences for the passing of the excellent doctor and master of orthopedics, who devoted his whole life to his profession.
Roberto Morales Ojeda, member of the Political Bureau and Secretary of Organization of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Cuba, also lamented through the social network the physical death of Alvarez Cambra.
Dr. C. Rodrigo Alvarez Cambra passed away on Thursday at 88, according to a statement issued by the Ministry of Public Health.
