HAVANA, Cuba, Dec 2 (acn) Danish Michael Moller, Director-General of the United Nations Office at Geneva, expressed his condolences for the death of the Cuban Revolution's historic leader, Fidel Castro, Prensa Latina news agency reported.
Moller visited the Cuban embassy in that Swiss city to sign the condolence book opened after the death of Fidel on November 25, aged 90.
According to a statement from the diplomatic headquarters, the UN-Geneva director held a dialogue with Ambassador Anayansi Rodríguez, in which he emphasized the importance of the figure of Fidel Castro and reiterated his expressions of solidarity to his family, and the Cuban government and people.
After the death of the Commander, numerous tributes are taking place all around the world in memory of his imprint as one of the most important figures of the 20th century, according to politicians, diplomats, intellectuals and people worldwide.
