Similarly, men, women and children of various social groups, ethnic groups and religions, Indians, blacks, the dispossessed and the humble with their natural dignity and intelligence and moving and often heartbreaking stories have found space in the channel.
And the historic leader of the Cuban Revolution adds: I confess that I am a constant viewer of the channel, by way of which I satisfy a lot of my information needs. Our people, with avidity and preference, receive the signal live.
The letter sent by Fidel to Telesur continues by saying that Telesur is a trench of ideas. The dreams and the seed sown by Chavez continue germinating under the commitment of its birth, as a bridge in the process of Latin American integration and the promotion of the necessary unity of our peoples. Telesur gets with its message and form of expression to the remotest parts of the world.
I congratulate all employees of Telesur for the effort and results in such a short time, and you, in particular, for your brilliant direction, concludes Fidel's letter.
