Cuba Marks Anniversary of the Eurasian Economic Union

 Havana, May 29 (ACN) Cuban Premier Manuel Marrero congratulated on Wednesday the states making up the Eurasian Economic Union on a new anniversary of the creation of that bloc of nations.

On his X account, Marrero ratified his country’s willingness to keep expanding bilateral cooperation in areas of common interest.

Cuba has maintained its observer status condition at the Eurasian Economic Union since 2020.

In a recent visit to Russia, the Cuban President Miguel Diaz-Canel, ratified his country’s willingness to increase its participation in the regional organization. The Cuban government considers of great importance its economic, commercial and financial relations wit the Union and its member states.

The Eurasian Economic Union comprises Russia, Belorussia, Kazanjian, Kirgizstan and Armenia.
