Venezuelan Authorities Dismantle Criminal Organization

Havana, April 22 (ACN) Venezuelan security forces dismantled a criminal organization whose aim was destabilizing the country.

Interior, Justice and Peace Minister Remigio Ceballos told reporters in the capital Caracas that the operation was successful after important intelligence action and a deep investigation.

The dangerous group was preparing actions against political leaders, public services and to cause panic in the country. The Minister said the group was linked to local ultra-right political sectors.

The official added that the armed group planned violent actions in several areas of the central Venezuelan region, including the recruitment of criminals for actions against peace, and political personalities, among others.
