Hotel in construction to be the highest in Havana houses polling station

HAVANA, Cuba, Mar 27 (ACN) The highest building in Havana was once again constituted in polling station number 2 for the election today of its candidates for deputies to the National Assembly of People's Power for the 38th Constituency.

Mainly, it groups the members of nine Committees for the Defense of the Revolution and the builders of the gigantic hotel they are raising in the central 23rd and K Streets, in the capital's neighborhood of El Vedado, in the municipality of Plaza de la Revolucion.

Gradually, they began to exercise their right to vote in the current national elections for the three candidates of their district, who had previously held meetings with the local residents.

The building located in front of the Coppelia ice cream parlor will surpass in height, with its 42 floors and 154 meters, the nearby Tryp Habana Libre and will be a five-star facility, according to specialists in the sector.
