Varadero, May 3 (ACN) A trade exhibit by providers of tourist resorts at Varadero’s Palma Real Hotel confirmed the role of the ongoing Cuban International Tourism Fair as the right scenario to promote the products and services of the island’s state-run and private companies.
Agricultural products, paints, rums, ice-creams, meats and sweets and many others were included in the exhibit boasting the country’s potential to replace costly imports from the world market.
The director of a Havana-based small private company known as “Construcciones Imperio” acknowledged that the fair has been an on-time space to promote their projects.
Offering construction and maintenance services with high quality and at affordable prices is a priority for the small company which is involved in new construction projects.
“We have highly skilled workers and we have experience in the tourist sector, so we come here to prove that our private company can work in this sector as invited by the fair, said Luis Orlando Hernandez, associate with the company.”
