Cuba and the Bolivian province of Santa Cruz hold Business Forum

HAVANA, Cuba, May 5 (ACN) The Chambers of Commerce of Cuba and the Bolivian province of Santa Cruz, held a virtual Business Forum, with the aim of promoting the potential for exchange between the two nations.

As published by the Cuban Chamber in its official Twitter profile, the representatives of the two entities advocated for a greater knowledge of the opportunities offered by the two national markets and for an increase in commercial exchange.

During the meeting, four Cuban companies presented their portfolio of opportunities for business related to technological advancement and drug development: Inversiones Gamma, BioCubaFarma, Tecnosime and Comercializadora de Servicios Médicos Cubanos.

On February 11, Cuba and the Plurinational State of Bolivia agreed to relaunch their economic and trade relations, suspended after the coup government of Jeanine Añez came to power in the Andean nation, from November 2019 until the same month of 2020.

With the electoral triumph of Luis Arce and the return to democracy in the Bolivian territory, the Cuban government expressed its willingness to resume the historical ties of brotherhood and solidarity between both peoples, promoted by Commander-in-Chief Fidel Castro and indigenous leader Evo Morales.
