Salvadoran Singer-Songwriter Alvaro Torres Arrives in Cuba

HOLGUIN, Cuba, Jul 9 (acn) Salvadoran singer-songwriter Alvaro Torres arrived on Thursday in Cuba at this city's Frank Pais International Airport, to start a tour of the eastern side of the Caribbean island.

Upon his arrival, the charismatic artist expressed his happiness for being in Cuba again. He will perform at the Mariana Grajales Amphitheater of Santiago de Cuba on July 11-12, while on July 14 he will sing at the Martires de Barbados Stadium of Bayamo, capital of Granma province.
The popular artist will close his tour, sponsored by the Cuban Music Institute, with two concerts on July 16 and 17 at the Mayor General Calixto Garcia Stadium of Holguin, where he will share the stage with the Opus David Children's Choir.
With a long musical career, which includes hits like Si estuvieras conmigo, De Punta a punta and Chiquita mía, he has recorded almost 50 albums and for decades has been one of the most pormoted artists in Cuban radio.
