HAVANA, Cuba, Nov 10 (ACN) The Member States of the Bolivarian Alliance of the Peoples of Our America-People's Trade Treaty (ALBA-TCP) expressed their solidarity with the Cuban people and government after earthquakes struck off the southeastern region of the country today on Sunday.
In a post on X, ALBA-TCP assured that it is closely following the information provided by the Cuban National Seismological Service, which reported two perceptible earthquakes off the southern coast of the province of Santiago de Cuba that caused landslides and damage to homes and power lines.
"The member states of the Alliance stand in solidarity with our sister nation, faced with this new event after weeks of hurricanes, and supports the hard work of the Cuban government and people to save lives and restore everything to normality," the note concludes.
